No, I do NOT have this License yet, but I plan to earn it next!

2019 | The Beginning 🖥️💥

In 2019, I built my first PC, fueled by my passion for computer hardware and the goal of creating a custom gaming rig. After digging into CPUs, GPUs, airflow, and memory speed — with a little help from my dad’s friend — I chose a Ryzen 5 2600X and a GTX 1660. 🛠️💻 The build was a game changer, sparking a huge passion for tech that led me to networking and computer engineering. Fast forward to 2025, and that same rig is still running — overclocked, running hotter than it probably should 😂, but it’s still going strong. 💪

2022-2023 | Tech Takeoff 🚀

In 2022, I made the bold move to Dunbar for their legendary tech and track programs (because why not crush it in both, right?). Started in pre-IB, but quickly realized it wasn’t my vibe. So, I switched to dual enrollment — and wow, college credits AND less stress? Sign me up! 🎓 That year, I got my hands dirty in Web Design with Mrs. Bell, and by the end, I was rocking my first industry cert in HTML & CSS. 💻✨

Fast forward to 2023, and I kicked things into high gear! Started working on my associate’s degree in Networking Systems Technology while juggling certifications in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Intuit’s Entrepreneurship, and ITS JavaScript. 😅 Oh, and did I mention I got my CompTIA A+ cert too? 🏆 That was a huge win and officially marked me as a tech pro-in-the-making. It was a whirlwind, but every step helped prepare me for my future in the world of technology!

The Now! 🚀

These days, I’m fully immersed in my degree, focusing all my energy on networking systems technology. 📚 To complement my studies, I took an entry-level job to gain some hands-on experience and round out my skills in the real world. 💼 I'm also saving up for a DJI Air 3S to fuel my passion for creating content 🎥 while studying for my Part 107 certification. Oh, and I’m not stopping there! Next up: CompTIA Security+ and Network+ certifications to level up even further. It’s a lot to juggle, but every step brings me closer to my goals. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me! ✨

PiWeb: Personal Web Deployment on Raspberry Pi

I’m building and deploying my personal website on a Raspberry Pi 3B. Using Nginx to host the site, DuckDNS for dynamic DNS, and Cloudflare for DNS management and SSL encryption, the project combines my skills in hardware, networking, and web development. The site, built with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is live at landonliedtke.com and regularly updated as I continue refining it.

Unraid Server – Budget Homelab Build

Built a custom Unraid server from a $30 Dell Optiplex 7010, transforming it into a NAS with several Docker containers, including WireGuard VPN, Minecraft servers (Java and Bedrock editions), 13ft Ladder (paywall bypass tool), Code Server for remote development, and Nextcloud for self-hosted cloud storage. This hands-on project expanded my skills in hardware, networking, virtualization, and self-hosting, while advancing my homelab setup as I work toward a career in networking and computer engineering.

My First PC Build

Built in 2019 to gain hands-on experience with PC hardware, overclocking, and performance tuning, this custom AMD/NVIDIA rig provided valuable insights into system optimization, troubleshooting, and long-term maintenance. (Image of the build in the about section)
